Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Cream together sugars and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add flour and soda.
Add oatmeal; stir well.
Add nuts. Drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0.
Makes about 3 dozen.
