Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. milk, scalded
3 egg yolks, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. shredded coconut
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients, except coconut. Cook until thick. Remove from heat. Add coconut; pour into pie shell.
Top with meringue.
