Chicken Liver Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. sliced onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1 (2 oz.) can mushroom pieces (undrained)
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    Set aside.
    Saute onion in bacon drippings.
    Dredge livers in 2 tablespoons flour and seasonings.
    Add livers to skillet and brown.
    Sprinkle livers with any remaining flour mixture and add bacon and mushrooms. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
    Remove to a serving platter. Blend 1 tablespoon flour, sour cream and 1/4 cup water and stir into pan drippings.
    Stir and cook until thick.
    Pour over livers. Serve with parsleyed noodles, mashed potatoes or rice.
