Hot Cranberry-Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Rome apples, sliced and unpeeled
    2 c. raw cranberries
    3/4 c. white sugar
    lemon juice (optional)
    1 stick butter
    1 c. oatmeal
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Put apples in casserole.
    Add cranberries; sprinkle white sugar over cranberries.
    Mix flour, brown sugar, oatmeal and then add melted butter.
    Mix with nuts.
    Spread over top of casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    (If Jonathan apples are used add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to apples.)
    If canned whole cranberries are used, cook apples before adding rest of ingredients.
