Pineapple Orange Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Place pineapple in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add jello, stirring until completely dissolved.
    Stir in buttermilk, coconut and pecans; cool.
    Fold in Cool Whip and mix well.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Serves 15.
