Black Forest Parfaits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cold milk
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding
    1 1/2 c. cherry pie filling
    1 3/4 c. Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Pour milk into small mixer bowl.
    Add pudding mix.
    Beat at lowest speed of electric mixer until well blended (1 to 2 minutes).
    Pour half of pudding into individual dessert dishes. Top with 1 cup of the cherries and 1 cup of whipped topping. Spoon remaining pudding over this.
    Add remainder of cherries and whipped topping.
    Serves 4.
