Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 whole carrot, chopped
    1 large stalk celery, chopped
    3 medium potatoes, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. margarine
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Velveeta Mexican mild
    2 c. milk
    2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to boil; add carrots, celery and potatoes.
    Cook until tender.
    Cook onion in margarine; add flour, milk and chicken broth.
    When smooth, add cheese.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Add vegetables plus the water they were cooked in. Makes 2 1/2 quarts, about 5 servings.
