Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 c. water
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. cubed, pared potatoes
    1 tsp. bottled brown bouquet sauce
    6 tomatoes*
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. basil
Preparation
    *One 28 ounce can tomatoes can be substituted; reduce water to 3 cups.
