Velvety Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    pinch of ground nutmeg
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Slowly stir in hot milk.
    Pour at once into pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
    Bake pie 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
