Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. cabbage, finely chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 small jar pimentos, chopped
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
    3/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix
    cabbage, green pepper, onion and pimento together. Make a
    sauce
    of
    vinegar, salt, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed
    and turmeric.\tBring sauce to boil.
    Pour over cabbage. Mix well. Refrigerate 12 hours.
    Keeps for weeks.
