Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 well-beaten egg yolk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in top of double boiler and mix well. Cook over simmering water until thick, stirring frequently.
Beat before using.
Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
