Tomato Salad Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. tomato juice
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. basil, chopped
    6 spring onions, finely chopped
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 tsp. horseradish
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Combine tomato juice, pepper, basil and onions; heat to boiling.
    Reduce
    heat
    to simmer; cook for 10 minutes. Strain out onions;
    keep
    liquid
    hot.
    Soak
    gelatin
    in water for 5 minutes.
    Add to hot tomato juice.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add remaining
    ingredients
    and
    mix
    well.
    Pour into mold; chill until firm.
    Arrange lettuce in
    a serving platter; unmold the salad into the lettuce.
