Ginger Sausage Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1 Tbsp. grated fresh or candied ginger
3 eggs, separated
oil (for frying)
Preparation

Combine meat, garlic, ginger and the egg yolks.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the meat mixture.
Heat oil in a large, heavy saucepan.
Drop meat by teaspoonfuls into the oil a few at a time, frying about 5 minutes until cooked through.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot.
Makes about 40.
