Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    3 to 4 sliced apples
    cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Stir flour and baking powder.
    Blend egg and milk; add to dry ingredients.
    Mix well; pour over sliced apples. Dot with butter; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Test for doneness.
