Tamales De Dulce(Sweet Tamales) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    corn husks, aluminum foil or parchment
    4 1/2 c. tortilla flour
    2 2/3 c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. lard or shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped mixed candied fruits and peels
    1/4 c. chopped almonds or pine nuts
Preparation
    Soak corn husks in warm water overnight to soften.
    Pat with paper toweling.
    Mix tortilla flour and 2 2/3 cups water; let stand 20 minutes.
    Meanwhile, in a large mixer bowl, beat together lard, sugar, salt and cinnamon until fluffy.
    Beat in flour mixture until well combined.
    Mix raisins, fruit, peels and nuts.
