Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked, drained and mashed
    1 1/2 c. canned milk (1 can)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 (350\u00b0 for glass pan).
    In a 3-quart bowl, mix brown sugar, melted shortening, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Add and stir until smooth sweet potatoes, canned milk and egg. Pour into 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake 45 minutes or until firm.
