Custard Pie Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/8 c. white sugar (1/2 c. minus 2 Tbsp.)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. whole milk
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs until yolks and whites are well blended.
    Add sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Slowly add whole milk and evaporated milk, stirring constantly.
    Line 9-inch pan with pastry; rub few drops of cold water over pastry.
    Add filling; sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce to 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
