Chicken Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can mushroom soup
    2 c. water
    cut up chicken
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash rice; place in 3-quart casserole dish. Mix mushroom soup, onion soup and water. Pour 2/3 of mix over rice.
    Place chicken, skin down, on top of rice. Pour remaining mix over chicken. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover casserole with foil. Bake at 400\u00b0 about 1 hour or until done.
