Apple Bread Pudding And Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread, sliced thin with crust removed
    2 green apples, cored and chopped
    1/2 c. raisins
    6 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 qt. milk or half and half
    2 Tbsp. melted oleo
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar and flour until smooth.
    Add milk and blend well.
    Set custard in refrigerator.
    Butter 11 x 7 x 1 3/4-inch pan and line bottom with the sliced bread.
    Cover with 1/2 chopped apples and raisins and 1/3 of custard.
    Repeat for second layer.
    Top with remaining bread and custard.
    Drizzle melted oleo over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes until custard is slightly firm.
