Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. finely chopped cabbage (about 1 small head)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad
2 carrots, scraped and shredded
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 or 2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
Sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper; toss gently.
Stir in mayonnaise.
Cover and chill thoroughly.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
