Butterdips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 scant tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in an oblong 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add milk.
    Stir slowly until dough just clings together.
    Turn onto a floured board.
    Coat with flour and knead lightly about 10 times.
    Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thick rectangle.
    Cut into strips using a pizza cutter.
    Dip strips into melted butter on both sides and arrange in pan.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 450\u00b0 in a metal pan or 425\u00b0 in a glass pan.
