Country Dinner Grits And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. water
dash of salt
1 c. grits
3 slices American cheese
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Combine grits, water and salt.
When almost done, add cheese and milk and cook about 15 minutes longer or until thick.
(Serve with smothered chicken or pork chops and hot buttered biscuits. Use gravy from chicken over grits.)
