Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. confectioners sugar
16 oz. softened cream cheese
1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
3 c. milk
16 oz. whipped topping
20 Oreo cookies, finely crushed

Preparation

Cream confectioners sugar and cream cheese in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add pudding mix and milk.
Beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
Sprinkle half the crushed cookies into clean decorative flower pot.
Spoon in cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle remaining crushed cookies over top to resemble \"dirt\". Chill until serving time.
Place silk flowers in mixture to resemble potted plant.
Yield:
15 servings.
