White Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening or oleo
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Sift and set aside flour, baking powder and salt.
    Melt shortening in pan.
    Stir in brown sugar and allow to cool slightly. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour mixture, nuts and chocolate chips.
    Pour into greased or wax paper lined cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Keep in an airtight container.
