Yams And Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 medium sweet potatoes
1 tsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 apples
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
1/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Peel potatoes and apples. Slice thin. In a large pot, heat 1/4 cup water to boiling. Add potatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add apples, butter, vanilla and cinnamon. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Add syrup and cook until tender. Makes about 6 to 8 servings.
