Pie Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. cold butter
    1/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1/3 c. cold water
Preparation
    Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl.
    Cut in the butter and shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing until the dough forms a ball.
    Add more than 1/3 cup water, if needed.
