Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (with pudding)
    2 large boxes instant vanilla pudding
    2 cans fruit cocktail, drained
    2 or 3 cans cherry pie filling
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
    coconut (top layer only)
Preparation
    Bake cake and let cool.
    Put about 1/3 of the cake in bottom of bowl.
    Begin to layer each remaining ingredient, using 1/3 of each item.
    This includes the cake.
    When you finish using all the ingredients the first time, begin another layer until you use all ingredients.
    Top off with the coconut.
