Lemon Pie(Yields 1 Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan with butter, lemon rind, lemon juice and egg yolks.
    Stir in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Fold in sour cream.
    Place in baked shell.
    Use egg whites, 1/4 cup sugar and cream of tartar.
    Make meringue and ice pie.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
    Chill 2 hours.
