Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup or ribbon cane syrup
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water and cook to the soft ball stage.
    Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark.
    Remove from heat; add baking soda, salt and vinegar.
    Stir well and pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
    Cool and break into pieces.
