Harker'S Island Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. clams
3 slices bacon
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. water
1 medium onion, diced
4 c. potatoes, diced
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. water
Preparation

Fry bacon in bottom of stew pot until crisp.
Crumble bacon and add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, stirring often until potatoes are tender.
