Autumn Apple Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. apples, peeled, cored and grated
    dash of cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nuts. In a large bowl, beat margarine or butter, sugar and 1 egg until smooth. Add second egg and beat well. Stir in vanilla. Stir in apples. Pour flour mixture into batter. Stir until moistened. Scrape into a loaf pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
