Huguenot Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped tart apples, peeled and cored
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
butter
Preparation

In a bowl, beat eggs until frothy and lemon-colored.
Add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix until smooth.
Stir in apples, pecans and vanilla.
Mix well.
Put mixture in a buttered 12 x 8-inch baking pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until crusty and brown on top.
Serve with vanilla ice cream. Serves 6.
