Low-Fat Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

3/4 lb. very lean ground beef
8 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
12 oz. mashed potatoes
1 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
spices to taste
Preparation

Mix ground beef with a fork to separate in bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle cornstarch or flour on top lightly.
Spread mixed vegetables over top of beef layer.
Add enough water to come halfway up on beef layer.
Spread mashed potatoes over top of vegetables, using a cake decorator to make fancy decorations on top.
Cook in microwave 5 minutes, then move to oven at 400\u00b0 to brown top of potatoes.
