Indonesian Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

cooked rice (on hard side), 2 c. rice to 3 c. water
1/2 onion, chopped fine
1 lb. ground pork or shrimp
2 stalks cut up celery
2 bunches scallions
1/2 bag or a 1 small box frozen green peppers
1/2 bag or 1 small box frozen peas and carrots
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 can Arturo's sauce*
soy sauce
1 egg, cooked scrambled
Preparation

In electric skillet, brown onion in a little oil.
Add pork or shrimp; brown.
Add frozen vegetables, celery and scallions. Simmer for a few minutes.
Add Arturo's sauce; stir good.
Add cooked rice; mix and let simmer until rice is hot.
Add soy sauce. Garnish with scrambled egg, cut in strips or pieces.
