Brazilian Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black beans
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. beef sausage, sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large clove garlic, crushed
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Rinse well.
    In a large pan, add enough water to cover beans about 1 inch.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours.
