Meringue Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites, room temperature
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 large Heath bars
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. sugar
    2 envelopes Dream Whip
Preparation
    Beat until stiff the egg whites, cream of tartar and pinch of salt.
    Gradually add sugar and vanilla.
    Pour into 2 well-greased cake pans.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Turn off oven and leave in oven overnight.
    Next morning, prepare 2 envelopes Dream Whip according to directions.
    Stir in 4 large crushed Heath bars which had been prefrozen for easy crushing.
    Ice the meringues as a cake.
    Chill in refrigerator for at least 8 hours before serving as cake slices.
