Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Duncan Hines German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk (small can)
1 large pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 large pkg. caramels
chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk; set aside.
Mix cake mix, butter and remaining evaporated milk.
Place half the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chips on top, then pour melted caramels over chips.
Sprinkle nuts on top of that.
Pat down.
Put rest of batter on top and spread as well as possible.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
