Apple Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    Measure and mix dry ingredients, flour, soda, salt and all spice, and set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add vanilla and egg and mix well.
    Add flour mixture and buttermilk.
    Mix until blended.
    Fold in apples.
    Spray muffin tins with Pam. Makes 12 small muffins.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
