Million Dollar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 lb. (4 sticks) butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs (at room temperature)
    4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    In small glass measure, combine milk with vanilla and almond extract and set aside.
    In a large bowl of electric mixer at high speed, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Alternately add 1/4 flour with 1/3 milk mixture.
    Place in prepared pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 40 minutes.
    Cool cake in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
    Serve plain or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
