Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 (1 oz.) or 4 (1/2 oz.) red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients to form paste, then add dry ingredients and then vinegar.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Split two round pans into 4 layers.
