Banana Crush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can sweetened pineapple juice
    2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    6 ripe bananas, mashed
    6 (28 oz.) bottles lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in water; add juices and mashed bananas.
    Mix everything except carbonated beverage.
    Divide into 6 equal portions in 6 freezer cartons and freeze ahead of time.
    Take out about 2 hours before serving time.
    Mix 1 portion with one bottle of carbonated beverage (lemon-lime soda or ginger ale).
    Makes about 72 punch cup servings of slushy-type punch.
    No extra ice is needed.
