Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 bag chocolate chips
Preparation
    Pour water over oatmeal; let stand for 10 minutes.
    Add margarine, sugar, eggs, etc.
    Stir in half the chocolate chips. Spread the other half on top after cake is baked.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in jelly roll pan or a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
