Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    shortening
Preparation
    Cook enough Irish potatoes to make 2 cups mashed potatoes. Mash and add flour, milk, salt and pepper.
    Mix until well blended, adding more or less flour and milk.
    Drop by patties in hot shortening and fry until golden brown.
