Corn Meal Mush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. yellow corn meal
    2 qt. boiling water with a pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix yellow corn meal with cold water, enough to get it stirred together.
    Add it to boiling water until well blended.
    Stir until well blended with boiling water.
    Cook for 2 hours in double boiler.
    Pour into oblong pan and slice when cold.
    Fry slowly until brown.
    Serve with syrup.
