Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 or 3 onions, diced
1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomatoes
1 can creamed corn
2 tsp. chili powder
2 or 3 tsp. salt to taste
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. cornmeal
1 can ripe olives
Preparation

Cook shortening,
onions
and
meat
until
meat
turns color. Add tomatoes,
corn,
chili
and salt.
Add eggs, milk and cornmeal.
Stir into meat.\tCook and stir until thickened. Place in casserole with
ripe olives.
Bake 1/2 to 3/4 hour at medium heat.
