Ingredients

2 eggs, chilled
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. bitter chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
baked pie shell (recipe to follow)
1 c. heavy cream (for whipping)
2 Tbsp. grated bitter chocolate
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add melted chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time, beating with mixer for 3 full minutes after addition of each egg.
Pour into shell and chill for 1 hour.
Cover with whipped cream and chocolate.
