Moo Goo Ngaw(Beef With Mushrooms) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    pepper
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1/8-inch slices
    3 Tbsp. diced onions
    1 1/2 c. beef broth or bouillon
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, peeled and sliced*
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    water
Preparation
    *Note:
    Canned mushrooms may be used, added at very end of cooking.
