Hearty Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 peeled medium potatoes
    2 carrots, diced
    1 rib celery, finely chopped
    2 qt. water
    1 onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, carrots and celery in a large pot. Add water. Cook for 20 minutes or tender. Drain liquid. Set vegetables aside. Saute onion in butter in small pot. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk gradually. Stir gently. Pour into vegetables. Add a cup or more of liquid.
