Okra Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. okra (small tender pods)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    7 Tbsp. sugar
    3 pods hot pepper
Preparation
    Wash and cut stems 1/2 inch from okra pod.
    Place okra and peppers in hot jars.
    Bring vinegar mixture to a boil; pour over okra and seal.
    This makes a very crisp and tasty pickle.
