Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/4 sticks margarine
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats; add margarine.
Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
Mix dark brown sugar, white sugar, soda, cinnamon, eggs, plain flour and nutmeg together.
Stir into the oatmeal mixture.
Blend these together well.
Pour into a 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes, until done.
